Cartridges, dispensers and mixing nozzles
Check the complete cartridge, dispenser and mixer combination. Matching the millilitre label alone is not enough.
An adhesive cartridge, dispenser and static mixing nozzle must be specified as a compatible system. The same nominal capacity does not guarantee the same cartridge shape, component ratio, piston configuration or outlet connection.
KONGDER's catalogue includes 50ml, 75ml, 250ml and 490ml adhesive formats and matching accessory categories. Use the catalogue to build a shortlist, then confirm the exact parts with the supplier before an initial or replacement order.
Which cartridge size should you enquire about?
Start with the amount of work performed in one session, the number of colour changes, the existing tools and the adhesive's specified working conditions. A larger cartridge is not automatically the most economical choice when short jobs, colour changes or material remaining in the mixer are considered.
| Capacity | Adhesive examples | Accessory starting point |
|---|---|---|
| 50ml | Solid surface adhesive / Joint adhesive | 50ml manual dispenser |
| 75ml | Solid surface adhesive / Joint adhesive | 75ml manual dispenser |
| 250ml | Solid surface adhesive / Joint adhesive | Manual / electronic dispenser |
| 490ml | Solid surface adhesive / Joint adhesive | 490ml manual dispenser |
Four checks before ordering accessories
- Cartridge fit: confirm the body dimensions, flange or retaining arrangement and usable dispenser stroke.
- Component ratio: confirm the required ratio and piston layout from the selected product documentation. Do not infer ratio from capacity.
- Mixer connection: verify the outlet, locking arrangement and exact nozzle reference. The catalogue groups 50ml/75ml nozzles and 250ml/490ml nozzles; check the exact combination.
- Dispensing requirements: confirm the tool is suitable for the product and expected use. An electronic tool listing is not evidence that it fits every cartridge of the same capacity.
Send clear photos of the cartridge outlet, the cartridge body and the dispenser pistons, together with any model numbers. This is more useful than asking only for “a 250ml gun”.
Estimate consumption from a trial
Nominal cartridge volume is not the same as usable adhesive in a completed joint. Purging, material left in the mixer, excess adhesive and changes between colours or jobs can affect consumption. Joint dimensions and application technique also vary.
For purchasing, record the cartridge quantity used, number and dimensions of completed joints, mixer changes and leftover material during a representative trial. Use that observed consumption to estimate the next order. We do not publish a universal metres-per-cartridge figure because it would hide those differences.
What to do before production
Read the current product TDS and SDS, confirm the complete tool combination and carry out a representative trial. Follow the specified procedure for preparing the cartridge, fitting the mixer, dispensing, pauses and storage. Replace or handle a used mixer as instructed; do not improvise a cleaning or reuse procedure.
Keep cartridge identification and batch details with the job record. If material flow or mixing looks abnormal, stop and request product-specific support rather than forcing the tool or changing the component ratio.
